Elise is a biologist, guide and graphic designer. She completed her MSc degree in limnology (Université du Québec à Chicoutimi (UQAC)), studying the composition of boreal and arctic lake ice.
Her projects made her travel and work in Nunavik (northern Québec) and Nunavut, on Baffin Island, Ellesmere Island and in the Kitikmeot region.
Her fields of expertise are:
(1) sampling planning and management: reviewing and adapting protocols, sampling planning, sample collection, measurements and data, laboratory work*, data entry and organization;
*Elise has WHMIS 2015 training, TDG 101 training – Transportation of dangerous goods – Carrier and Handler and Radiation Protection training (UQAC 2017)

Gabriel has been guiding for 10 years. In the touristic industry, he led groups in dog sledding tours, mountain trekking, sea kayaking, cross-country skiing, whitewater canoeing, snowmobiling, boating and ATV tours. He specialized his guiding services for Arctic science research teams for 3 years now.
The Canadian Arctic is his playground and his chosen home. His various contracts brought him to Nunavik (northern Quebec) and Nunavut, on Baffin Island, Ellesmere Island and in the Kitikmeot region.
His desire for discoveries and exploration led him to specialize in first aid in remote areas. He is a Sirius instructor for first aid training in remote areas (20h, 40h, 80h) as well as the defense against wild predators (DPS) course (see training offered). He is also a remote emergency medical technician (REMT) and medical person-in-charge (MPI).
